Ive been away …

… and since been back have not felt like posting. I was up in Auckland helping mum as she had an operation … all is good – she has been diagnosed with Sarcoides. However, her partner fell and broke his hip the sunday before Mum was due to go in, so … he was in Middlemore hospital and Mum was in Auckland Hospiital. Talk about ridiculous. Anyway, if anyone has to go to Auckland Hospital its a prick of a place to park … they certainly need more parking there – whoever designed that needs a kick up the bum… and whats with the traffic and the drivers – alll very appalling. I brought back some golf balls for my brother in law as Mums partner has about 2,000 in the garage … ridiculous.
Going to Taupo tomorrow … dog stuff.

waves to you, far out you have been a busy woman. Glad to hear your mum is okay. Far out at her partner having an accident too. Hope Taupo went well.

Hope all the unwell people are better soon. And I agree – Auckland hospital parking is scary – especially or out of towners.
Just off to obedience classes with Indie- awesome progress, I am amazed at what she will do – but why is it that at class she is a model student but at home…. well, less so?

Thanks Janine and Mel. Al is well on the western front. Mum even visited for a few days down here so sort “shit”out. I am always amused when she appears on the scene down here as things get done! Even my housework – which is frantic as Mum is a clean freak. She has got more casual about it though …
Im not amused with what Mums partner did – it certainly annoyed Mum and I certainly was not going to look after him while up there – he has three daughters – I had Mum to worry about.
Mel – sounds like Indie is doing just fine. They are all like that – model students = then they come home to create havoc. Dont worry Indie will remember it, just keep doing the basics at home consistently and it will pay great dividends at the age of 2 onwards.
